After graduating from Hartford, James traveled across the country working in several different states remodeling hotels. He later settled down in Paw Paw and started working for a local school system doing maintenance, however continued with side jobs as he enjoyed them. During that time he found that he would like to continue with his side jobs as his primary job, resulting in JJ Handyman Services, LLC. He has been doing constructive, mechanical, and handyman work for 30+ years.
